I'm putting this first because people seem to miss it:

After we agree on the commission price and image, I will take time to sketch out one or two sketches that can be inked and colored. I will always seek your approval on these.
After I am happy with it I will send you a low-res watermarked copy of the sketch, and you can approve it or tell me what to needs to be changed. You are only allowed ONE full re-sketch! If you approve it, you are required to pay in full before I will ink and color it. This will firstly show you that I'm actually doing it, and secondly keep people from trying to scam me for free art. Afterwards, for every 10-12 days it is not complete, I will send you a print-screen of myself working on it in Photoshop so you can see how close to completion I am.

[Payment:]

Paypal - My Preferred method of payment. If you use Paypal, I will not request that you add $2 to cover charges - it is up to you whether you would like to do this or not (It's something I always do when I pay for commissions.) This is the ONLY option for payment for anyone outside the U.S.

Another acceptable form of payment is a United States Money Order. You can get these at banks and post offices. If you choose to pay this way, I am not liable for the money order being lost in the mail. I have taken many commissions paid by money order, and not yet had a problem with it on either side.

I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY CHECKS IN THE MAIL!

[Shipping:]
A $5 flat-rate for any shipping within the U.S.
Shipping is currently unavailable internationally, unless you are willing to work with me on the increased shipping costs required to ship to another country.

A reliable e-mail address - (please give me an email I can send the high resolution copy to. I will not e-mail you otherwise unless you cannot be reached via deviantArt.)

Payment - What payment method have you chosen? If you have chosen paypal, please give me the email address you send the payment with. If money order, I will give you my name and mailing address - I request that you give me the name you will be sending it from or else how do I know that this is the money order you sent me?

Character References: (I prefer multiple image references...you are only allowed one re-sketch and two tweaks. With descriptions I find it hard to get it right the first few times.)

Age: (How old does s/he look?)

Build: (Height, weight, build - wiry, lanky, short, tall, thick, overweight, underweight, muscular, etc)

Hair/Eye/Skin Colors: (Hair color, eye color, skin/fur color, and other important colors)

Personality: (Basic description of personality.)

Clothing: (Speaks for itself. What kind of clothing do they wear, or you can just link to a specific outfit they wear.)

Important Features: (Significant features: scars, tattoos, jewelry, items, etc. )

Image Description: (Mood/theme/setting - What do you want? Do you want them leaning against a brick wall smoking a cigarette, do you want them looking out an art nouveau window at a fading sunset? Or do you just want me to do whatever the heck I please?)


I will reply with a confirmation and the final price. If you reject the price I will not lower it unless you want something less detailed. I will not haggle.
